I don't know how many of you guys have noticed this, but hopefully this thread will make you aware of these guidelines.

 

 

Posting Guidelines

This forum is intended to provide an atmosphere of open communication, where each member can share his or her own insights and opinions. To help achieve this goal, we ask that you:

Do not post libelous or illegal material.

Do not post harassing or discriminatory comments based on race, ethnic origin, gender, or sexual orientation.

Do not solicit or advertise.

If you have questions or comments about this forum (such as technical difficulties or performance issues), please contact your forum administrator for the appropriate channel for your inquiry.

 

Moderation

Any post that violates the above conditions, or departs from the intended purpose of this forum may be removed without notice by the administration.

We reserve the right to edit any post for reasons including, but not limited to: language, length, or content not appropriate to the topic of this forum.

Older threads or messages may be removed from time to time, to main to maintain categories or threads of manageable length.

I found this somewhere in the advanced editor for posts.

It is common forum knowledge, but what i wanted to emphasis was that this forum was public. A note to everyone, don't put your email and other personal information, because third party sites or bots may use it to spam you.

I'm lazy to read whole things, but i read it all anyway. It's quite common things, but i try my best to not break those rules. by the way, we have to type more than 50 words right? otherwise, our comments will recognize as spam. that's what i heard from Mr. Jade.

 Btw, we do need to type more than 50? Even if I type as less than 50 words, the posting will be count or not? I'm just not sure with that becaues every time I type, it always count (even though I didn't count on how many words do I type in each post). Anyway, Ayaka got lazy again LOL!! True that these rules are quite normal things but if we break one or more rules... we can be considered as the spams. I'm sure nobody wants that to happen rite? :)

 I think he did said about it in my class (not sure that he announce for your class too or not). Still, I also don't know about that much too. Thanks for sharing! This is pretty serious stuff! I do not like the 50 word thing. What if my opinion doesn't exceed 20 words and yet it makes sense! Is that going to be considered a spam?

 Absolutely our second Facebook!!! Actually, for me, this website just took over facebook. I don't really go on facebook anymore. I just came here, read stuff, read comments, recomment people's comments, post my own comments, and then my whole day is gone. hahaha, suddenly it's ten at night!!

 5555 Don't lie Pear, just admit it that you sleep in class sometimes. By the way, just type on anything you have in your mind. For me, I just read the posts, think, and just type whatever I want to say... just that, in which I think I will got about 50 each (If I'm not mistaken about all the comments I did). Also, today I ask Mr. Jade already about the post. If the post doesn't reach from 25-50 words, he will deduct the post count later(even though that post is also counted to the post no.) :)

Share about this deduction too then.. so that nobody will be deducted because of writing short sentences or spamming the wall. :)

Thanks Sherwin, really appreciate what you did for our online society( our friends and our bros). This website is for us to share our ideas and show our concerns for others. We got plenty of time if we work constantly everyday so I encourage all of you to post what you think and do not spam !

First of all i would like to say thanks to sherwin, cause i did not notice it really, and i wanna cheers back to u too akanksha, and another thing
phoom if we have to write above fifty words, its kinda alot, and i don't actually know that will i be able to comment on something and write something that is thhaaaaaaaatttttt loooooooonnnnnnnggggggg!!!!!!! So in my thinking that i think below fifty will be ok, but it should not be to shorrt is it

 Yeah, I heard other people saying it too. They said that it was mentioned in their classes, but I don't remember it being said in my class. Writing paragraphs is too straining, but I hope it will be okay as long as we do not write only a phrase as our reply.

Wow, too many rules, though I agree, after reading, that it should be known to all of us. It is important to maintain our privacy. I surely do not want my personal information to be accessible to the WHOLE WORLD!!!

..... i did not realize it until now haha hopefully i did not post something to embarrass myself lol but i think there is pros and cons to this and although i like the old synergy better but i think this one will do just fine

Yep Piradee, that's the problem with public forums, and sharing your information online.

On a side note, I'm happy to know that many are taking note of these rules as they are rather important.
