This is a quote i really like from the 2003 movie Bruce Almighty

God: Parting a soup is not a miracle, Bruce. It's a magic trick. A single mom who's working two jobs, and still finds time to take her son to soccer practice, that's a miracle. A teenager who says "no" to drugs and "yes" to an education, that's a miracle. People want me to do everything for them. What they don't realize is *they* have the power. You want to see a miracle, son? Be the miracle.

Be the miracle!!! "A single mom who's working two jobs, and still finds time to take her son to soccer practice, that's a miracle"... That's really a miracle and my mom does similar things.

yes, i do agree with the qoute. We are the one that causes our own success or failure, and so if we want to see a miracle, we need to work hard for it.

this is one of the good movies

it is funny plus it teaches us good moral lesson

and the quote you have chosen is a good quote

what I like most in the paragraph is "God:People want me to do everything for them. What they don't realize is *they* have the power. You want to see a miracle, son? Be the miracle."

it's very true, I wish I could remeber this all the time and ask for less and do more good things :D :)5555+:P

I agree that we can be the miracle,but I don't think 'single mom who's working two jobs, and still finds time to take her son to soccer practice' is a miracle, why? because it's just an ordinary thing that every great mom would do for their son. Miracle is something you believe strongly that it'll happen and it happens.

This is hilarious yet so motivational at the same time! Imagine God saying that (not the god in the movie, but the real god).
what he says is so wise. Parting a soup is not a miracle, it's just a magic trick. But true miracles happen every day for various people because they decide they want to do something for others. Reading this quote once more makes me want to go out and help someone in need...

 I also love how they use Morgan Freeman to play as God! His voice is legend!!

I totally agree with this quote. When you find the time to do something even when you are so busy or do the right thing and not get peer pressured requires hard work and dedication. A lazy person would not be able to pull this off.

I like the quote because it tells us that we can decide what we want to be and we have all the power to become whatever we want to be. Our future lies in our own hands, and our choices play a big part in that!

I truely agree with this quotes, single mom with 2 jobs, still can find time to take her son to a somewhere he want to go. Yeah that's true, it's surely a miracle for her and her son to have a happy life together with out any other helps
